Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

YouTube gold

I’ve been following this guy on YouTube for years now, and he never fails to impress. He’s especially good with Beatles tunes and Brazilian pieces, if you’re a fan of Baden Powell et al.

What really wows me about him — and I love his moniker, Troubleclef — is that most of the 194 videos on his channel are his own arrangements. He performs them in his home, sometimes a music room, sometimes the kitchen (nice acoustics in there, I guess!), and humbly shares them with the world.

You can buy his only record, so far, here. I have it. It’s terrific. His rendition of “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory will make you smile all day.

As a guitar player, I can really appreciate his skills. Very nice.

Yes, I’m really envious of his chops too. And, like all such players, he makes it look easy. Doh!

He is exceptionally talented. Beautiful arrangements. Thanks for the link 🙂

*frustrated much* I just tried to go and purchase and got this message:

Not sure why Amazon has that policy, Miss Lou. But you could try contacting Tony through his YouTube channel and asking if you can purchase the mp3’s directly from him, via PayPal. I bet he’s already had this issue come up, since he has a lot of international followers.

      Glad you like!

That’s a really good idea Kevin, Thanks for the suggestion!
