Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

Original song Saturday — Om sweet om edition

As always, I’m no singer, but the song has words so I sung ‘em.

Baby wants to get me into yoga.
Well, you can dress me to the nines,
You can put me in a toga,
But baby — no way —  I will never be into yoga

Baby wants to teach me how to tango.
I said I can’t dance —  don’t ask me,
That includes the damn fandango,
So baby, I will never learn how to tango.

I will not, said I will not,
But that don’t mean I cannot.
Here’s another thing I want you to know,
I ain’t goin’ to the damn flower show.

I am what I am, and I don’t do Broadway,
I do what I do in my own flawed way,
So wham and bam, and that’s the way it is, ma’am
No thanks

Never learn how to tango…

Baby wants me bringin’ her home more money.
I said, I’m doin’ what I can, girl,
And I ain’t the Easter Bunny,
So listen up: I won’t be makin’ more money.

Baby says she wants me to pack my bag
I said, Who made you the boss of the world?
And why you such a drag?
So baby, I’m not gonna pack my bag.

That’s all she wrote.

Not gonna pack my bag…

Baby wants to make me do karaoke.
I said, I can’t even carry a tune,
But if you want it, okey dokey,
Let’s go out (you win) and do some karaoke…

Actually, this would make good background music for yoga 🙂
