WHAT THE HELL

Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

Hey, you’ve got to love your “Hideaway”

To think this kind of thing was on TV when I was young. And I was outside clipping baseball cards to the spokes of my bike.

This particular song was famously done by John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, feat. Eric Clapton, but of course Freddie came first and Eric borrowed a lot of his licks over the years. It’s nice to go back to the original to see was EC was so excited about.

Only differences between then and now are lowrider, sagging jeans and more f-bombs. Right? Right?
