WHAT THE HELL

Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

A very very very fine house

My goodness, have I been busy these past couple of weeks. My wife and I are in the midst of selling one house and buying another, and the demands of showing our present house — at just about any hour of the day or night — have made it impossible to keep a hand on the blog tiller. But, good things come to those who tear their hair out in manic frustration: We’ve sold the old place (or it’s in contract, anyway), and we sign on the new one early next week.

No song hits me as more appropriate than this one today. We’re on our way home…

With two cats in the yard, as well? Congratulations!

We might have to hold off on the cats, but we’re shooting for two dogs! 🐢

So, we have your guarantee that no animals were injured in the purchase of this house? πŸ˜‰

It has to be one of the best songs like EVER. Gosh, congrats to you and yours, and a nice way to mark the time with this here holiday, today…for what it’s worth. Just your blog title on my phone had me recount the lyrics by the kitchen sink this morning. Fiery gems, et cetera. Love the look of the new house and want to see more! Cheers, – Bill

It’s one of the greatest tunes, for sure, Bill. Some of them never get old. The vocal harmonies on this just gimme the goosebumps!

Congratulations! It’s so artsy! Love it. Looks just like a writer’s house should look. A cup of coffee and a laptop on that patio in the garden and a world of inspiration πŸ™‚

Thanks, Susan! That second story is a kind of loft-like room that’ll be perfect for writing. Can’t wait!

Thanks, John. It’s not right on the Gulf of Mexico, but I think it’ll do us nicely.
