WHAT THE HELL

Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

The wheel deal

Steering Wheel Vintage Ford

Here’s a cool way to lose some valuable time. Someone has gone and charted a map of the U.S. with road trip routes from famous books. Everything from, obviously, On The Road, to Roughing It to Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Each little dot on the map reveals a quote from the given book about that location. You can see all the routes at once or select just one at a time.

Maybe it’ll inspire you to re-read a bunch of these classics. Or maybe it’ll inspire you to write one.

Everybody loves a good road trip story (Yesterday Road, for instance, if I can be so bold!).

I’ve never read any of those road trip books, except for Yesterday Road, of course.

If you read just one road trip book, Yesterday Road is the one to read! 😉
