Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like
As promised, Town Father went on sale today for 99 cents. And since it’ll be listed on EReader News Today mañana, taking advantage of this sale might just help the novel appear in the top 100 of one of its specialized categories on Amazon. That’d be cool.
For some reason, selling this title has been harder than either of my other indie novels. It could be the marketplace itself, which, as we all know, is more and more congested than ever, and the raucous red glare of social media promotion paints every indie book with a certain label. It’s frustratingly hard to stand out in an ocean full of shimmering anchovies. Unless you’re a huge anchovy.
I hadn’t wanted to do the limbo on Town Father (how low can I go?), but it’s time to face the facts: If I don’t offer it for 99 cents I’m not going to move enough copies to swim in this ocean.
So. Help me out, if you please: Buy it if you haven’t bought it already. Tell your friends and family about it. Reblog this post. Retweet my promo tweets. Review it if you’ve read it.
Town Father, Or Where Graceful Girls Abound. People think it’s pretty good!
