WHAT THE HELL

Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

In No Particular Order ~ cover peek

When In No Particular Order comes out next week (fingers crossed!), it’ll have this up front. I put it together with Canva, the do-it-yourself graphics site, and had a blast doing it. Fun, and a piece of cake.

Hope you like it. First prize to the reader who can spot the scorpion and frog.

INPO is a “memoir” only in the loosest sense, but since everything in it happened to me, that seems the right label. “Autobiography” is far too stuffy for the contents.

By the way, the image is an old painting from a collection of public domain art, a great source for book cover images.

I see them both! Great cover design, Kevin. Looking forward to reading this. (And “memoir” is definitely the better description for this.)

I recognize them both as frequent visitors to my house on Bequia.

Thanks, Marie! Of course, you’ve read all the pieces, but maybe there’s a certain effect to reading them all at once. Scary!

No, not scary 😉 If these are posts that you’ve shared over the last few years, then it will be interesting to read them with fresh eyes, and to have them more in a context than simply scattered across your blog.

Nice! I use Canva too, for cover images and blog headers. Lots of fun.

Thanks, Bill! Glad you like it. Looks like those fruit and veggies aren’t arranged in any particular order, so it seemed right. 😉
