WHAT THE HELL

Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

Sie ist traurig

Gosh, I can’t believe only five people have listened to my musical tribute to Angela Merkel.

She is sad.

Don’t forget: I stole a bunch of the lyrics from famous poets. Yeah, just like Dylan does!

    Hope she feels better now.

I’m afraid she tends toward the Blau. Maybe that’s why she’s so beguiling … 😉

“Beguile” wouldn’t normally come to mind, but I enjoyed your music.

How do you say “tongue in cheek” in German? Thanks for listening!

Augenzwinkernd, that just trips off the tongue, maybe you can work it into your next tune 🙂

I love it! Classic German efficiency, even if it has more syllables than “tongue in cheek.” 🤔

OK, yes, I listened. Sadly, I don’t know enough about Angela to know whether the lyrics fit. Tune is nice, if only I had a nice cold drink to nurse in the far corner of a dark pub…

She’s just a metaphor for love that’s out of reach … A cold drink would help, of course. 😉

I just listened to it and shared. Too bad I can’t find a valid Twitter account for her (if she even has one …). I think she would enjoy it. I can imagine her, alone at night, with a glass of wine, swaying to the tune … over and over and over. Seriously, nicely done!

Thanks, Marie! And as famous as she is, I wonder if anyone else has ever bothered to write her a song. Nein!
