WHAT THE HELL

Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

Tune time

Here’s a little ditty about a couple who started out iffily but managed to let their relationship mature into a real keeper. But you don’t have to “reside by the oceanside” to be like them. The oceanside is a fine metaphor, and it works for the landlocked too!

Today also happens to be my birthday, but the less said about that the better. All I’ll reveal is that the digits in my new age add up to 8, which I think is an ambiguous number numerologically speaking. Time will tell.

Later it’s off to Sugar Pine Lake for a sweet hike on a beautiful day, with my wife, my dog, and the traditional Brennan birthday lunch of PBJs and Cheez-Its.

Happy Birthday, Kevin. Eight huh? Well, that could be 1-7, 2-6. 3-5, 4-4, 5-3, 6-2, 7-1, and 8-0. Any time there are Cheez-its it is a celebration. Super song.

Thank you, John! And glad you liked the song. I guess 8 worked out for me pretty well because we had a terrific day yesterday.

Happy B.D., Kevin! Hope it was a great day, and wishing you good things for the next year. I agree that 8 is a problematic number.

Thanks, Audrey! Yep, we had a terrific day, and if anything it made me feel a year YOUNGER! πŸ˜ƒ
