So here it is, the face of Eternity Began Tomorrow. And I’m afraid you’ll be seeing a lot of this face as I launch my incessant promoting of the book for the next few weeks.
As with Fascination and In No Particular Order (and my editing client’s book as well), I did this one myself, using the online graphics app, Canva. Start with a free photo from Pixabay or Unsplash, and you can take a stab at a custom cover for your next Kindle book too.
Normally I’d have recruited my erstwhile coverman, Max Scratchmann, but I decided to keep my budget to a minimum this time so I could save some bux for marketing. We’ll see what I can do to get this book in front of some new eyes (Amazon ads? BookBub?), but at least I’ll have some funds ready.
The desert Blazes is walking through here is purely metaphorical, by the way. She does not get lost in the sand dunes in the book. However, climate change might well turn much of the planet into a desert while many of us are still alive, so there’s a subliminal message being sent in this image. Take heed.
The book launches on Wednesday, bright n’ early. Look for the Amazon link here at What The Hell, and get ready to spread the word among your #amreading minions!
Perfect! Love it!
So glad! I hope it entices browsers to pull the trigger and buy the book!
The lines in the sand…I love it!
Great observation, Bill! Feels like time for lines in the sand, doesn’t it? 😉
Does.
Sweet cover! Love Canva.
Thanks, Phillip. Yeah, I think Canva is great for indies. Has quite a few tools that help us make covers that don’t LOOK indie … 😉
Nice cover … perfect for a novel about climate change since we’ll all be living in a desert soon ;( (And thanks for not having a naked male torso on the cover although that probably would help with sales 😉 ).
Heh heh. Yeah, you know how I feel about the naked torso syndrome … 😉
I share your feelings 😉
Love this cover, I think it’s your best one yet, though they’ve all been great. I like the colors and the moo. The mystery of it all draws me in. As we are forever praising our dog, “Good jobber!” P.S. Just bought your book.
Thanks for buying on Day 1, Cinthia! Glad you like the cover too. As soon as I came across the photo, I said, Dayum, that works for EBT!
Wish me luck!
