Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like
I have a new cockamamie scheme I’ve been floating on Twitter for moving a few copies of Eternity Began Tomorrow. Listen up:
If you buy and review the book on Amazon, I’ll GIVE you a Kindle copy of one of my other books.
How’s that sound?
Now, I know a lot of What The Hell readers already own most if not all of my other books, but you can pass this offer along to other reader-friends and turn them on to my oeuvre. Any reader-friend of yours is a reader-friend of mine.
I’m running this up the flagpole because I need some reviews but quick. I know for a fact that EReader News Today will reject a promotion until the book has some unnamed number of reviews (I think they rejected Fascination when it had five), so EBT is stuck in limbo until I can expose it to a wider group of potential readers.
Way back when, at the dawn of What The Hell, I said I’d be talking about the experience of being an indie writer/publisher, and—sad but true—this is what it’s like. Hawking, begging, whining, moaning; soaring when someone surprises you; crashing when another lets you down; working, in spite of it all, on that next book; and admitting, at the end of each day, that you have no intention of quitting.
The life of an indie novelist. No, it ain’t always pretty. But it’s better than having rectal surgery, so I can’t complain.
Anyway. The offer’s on the table: buy and review the book on Amazon, and I’ll GIVE you a Kindle copy of Yesterday Road, Occasional Soulmates, Town Father, or Fascination.
