WHAT THE HELL

Kevin Brennan Writes About What It's Like

My 2020 journal is coming next week, and Close to Perfect is free for download here

Next week I’ll be releasing Infamy—A Journal of Our Darkest Year 2020. I put the lid on it Thursday, after the inauguration, trying to end the damn thing on a high note. For a year of extremely low lows, it was comforting to wrap with a feeling that we have a chance now of recovering some of what we lost in 2020.

Keep your eyes on this space for the launch. The ebook will run you a mere $2.99 for the pleasure of reliving the year we all thought would never end.

In the meantime, today I’m making available for download here on the blog my “lost podcast,” Close to Perfect. It’s in pdf form, readable on almost any device.

This is the writing conversation between me and my two fellow travelers, Karen Choi and Dan DeLonge, in which we cover almost everything that goes into the writing and publishing of a novel. I had it on Amazon briefly, but—for whatever reason—it failed to attract any interest and I decided to pull it.

But I still think it’s a helpful discussion that a lot of writers might benefit from, so here you go. Download, share, talk amongst yourselves.

Get Close to Perfect as a pdf file here.

I like that you’ve offered Close to Perfect as a download from your blog. Amazon is just too creepy. I’ looking forward to Infamy 😉

I do wish there was a viable alt. to Amazon, one that could really reach a big audience. It’s like, If you want to sell any books, you have to deal with the Death Star.
