WHAT THE HELL

Ta Ta, Tees ~ #2

It’s time to say farewell to my Schrödinger’s cat tee.

Was I for a time obsessed with the idea of Schrödinger’s cat? Why, yes. Yes, I was. For a time. After all, this is a cat who is alive and dead at the same time, and the only way he can be one or the other is if you open up his box and observe him. Until you observe him, he’s dead and alive at the same time.

At least that’s my doofus interpretation of the thought experiment Prof. Schrödinger cooked up in 1935. I was delighted when my favorite tee maker (who shall remain nameless) dedicated a shirt to the koolest kat of all time.

But it’s tired and over-worn now and it must go.

Join me—won’t you?—in saying “Ta ta” to this tee.

Hello/goodbye, sweet Tee. It’s been good knowing/not knowing you.

The ampersand there is key. Screenshot and sent to daughter Lily, well done. Officially dead, TTFN

Yes, the ampersand and the exed-out eyes. A classic!

I’d never heard of this cat before but, after reading up a little on it, I think that is a really cool shirt. Parting is such sweet sorrow. The whole quantum mechanics thing, though, is a bit above my pay grade.

Yeah, my eyes glaze over when I try wrapping my head around that stuff. But a cat? I can relate to a cat! 😺
